The patch did not fix the substitution issue

Good day, everyone  

I was surprised when I logged on today after downloading the latest patch to not see any fixing where you would try to sub out a back up player  on the lineup screen and it would automatically jump to the player that was starting and would remove him instead. I’m not understanding how they could miss that unless they are not actually playing the game because it’s such an obvious thing to notice

Yep, this is an annoying bug and it's still there.

Yet another bug that has been there for many years now and keeps getting recycled back into the game via legacy code. But the instant a glitch benefits players getting better stuff, such as repeatedly getting 1 coin pulls, they're on it like a gold digger spotting a guy driving a Lamborghini.

i’m baffled on how they missed this and also my question is how do you work around this getting out the players that are back ups?

When your starter gets subbed out just put the one you wanted to get rid of in the starter spot and then sub them out without inserting  and moving just sub position. Quickest way I found but I wish they could just fix it it doesn't seem like it would be that hard especially since they had it right at launch..... Only thing they had right...

I have this same issue but only for certain positions. I can’t believe they missed it but I honestly don’t find it hard to believe they don’t play their own game. Sadly we in the MUT community are suckers for punishment and keep buying this game year after year.
