Holding rewards till they become irrelevant. Ridiculous price floors to start the year, all was a terrible idea by ea. Definitely turned a lot of people away. I've never seen Mut so dead in Aug/Sept.

I feel the actual game play is slightly improved, but the overall experience is terrible. The missing content and not getting things that you paid for and earned is completely unacceptable. I would classify it as fraudulent! I think you are right in that there are more weird glitches than before. When you restart a challenge, and your offensive players are somehow magically substituted in on defense is one that comes to mind.

The abilities an X factors are not ruining the game play yet. The CPU defense is not dropping every potential interception which forces you to make better decisions throwing the ball. Knock outs are not overpowered. They have done more to accommodate those who do not buy players or want to play against loaded "purchased teams" by allowing them to play solo battles and solo seasons and not forcing them to play Head-to-Head for rewards (but the rewards suck badly). The movements seem more realistic. I am not seeing the unrealistic juke moves where players do the electric slide or teleport 10 yards horizontally. I do think playing on Veteran or higher should be something more than the system identifying the defense you are running and picking on the weak spots of that defense, but that is a tough one...What can they do to make the game play more difficult if you are confined to maintain a specific lower OVR? They can't make it harder by making the players 90+ Speed and 90+ Strength but advertise the team as 81 OVR or whatever they may be.

I agree - only sweats playing H2H right now, as I feel like casual gamers have either quit MUT (due to the price floors to start and difficulty keeping up with making coins,) or they're playing dynasty on NCAA.

Ncaa dynasty mode has definitely been the move for me. No packs , no field passes , just good ol fashioned gameplay.  Didnt get all of my Rookie premier's as did many others. We played Madden 24 well into july to obtain these cards due to the field pass. Terrible customer service on Ea's part not having those cards out on opening day for everyone.

They  not riding EA. 

The crappiness of the game doesn't affect them because they exploit the crappiness of the game for their own benefit. 

TLDR   Low skill players love the game because its built for low skill players

I think it's hardly dead.  My problem is that I am stuck between insane users on defenses flying around, exploits and then when I go down, I play absolute bots. I compete and make it good games but seem to come up short.  Obvious answer is to get better.  Gotta get down user mechanics down better.  Haven't played Madden in about 5 years. I'm enjoying the process as frustrating as it can be sometimes.

For this stage of its life cycle it’s dead. It’s currently 15th on Xbox live well below CFB and well short of the #2 spot it occupied this same time last year. It will only get worse player population wise.

it's crazy to think that running Corners and Post routes  all game makes someone believe that they can flex about anything. 

The game is terrible and every year the only people to defend it are the ones abusing it.
