Auction house is a ghost town and prices are plummeting on everything but the multimillion coin LTDs while most items sit unbought and undercut each other endlessly...

I got Akayleb Evans number 300 something yesterday and its the first time ever ive pulled one of the top thousand(and i wasnt even grinding hard, thats just how few people are playing obviously)  too bad it was worthless and had to sell for peanuts before anyone bought it bc the AH, like the game, are dead. Earlier than ever. Nice, EA.

You deserve another vacation where the only time you think of work is the five mins you tale to "fix" a glitch that benefits players for once while continuing to ignore all the REAL glitches. Make or break year. Mission accomplished.

Yeah I agree with you. I got Evans #220 or something at like 2:00 on Xbox and I even missed a lot of the comp pass for one week. 

once again, with 3 weeks left in comp pass I have no incentive or rewards to earn in H2H. Just playing SB event for the next week now.

I must say the game does seem pointless already. Compared to other years where until 97-99 released you felt like you could play a scheme or stick to something you're good at and compete. But now it seems the meta players and schemes have already brought the game to a dead end.

Personally I'm about done myself. Probably won't be around much after TOTY and honors drop

I don't think it's so much that people aren't playing, but where they are playing.  The Super Bowl event has been better time/value relationship and it doesn't contribute to the Comp Pass.

This is a huge part of it. The comp pass isn't worth the grind. The best reward is the exclusive players which aren't even good compared to the top cards in the game. Plus ever since they removed the full legends players from the comp pass there hasn't really been anything of value in it

I was starting to think the competition had gotten rather poor. I won three Superbowls in the Super Bowl Run H2H game mode between last night and this morning. And I'm not even very good at the game, but 70/70 SB + 25/50 49ers almost feels liek cheating. Running folks down with 99 SPD all around. Feeling very end-game already. Anyway, this sucks so many people quit before the big game. Great work EA. Bravo. 

Figures all the actually decent players have checked out. I'm starting to feel bad passing out beatdowns to dudes with 90-91 OVR squads, sometimes with no abilities.

What do you do in that instance? On the bright side of things, there's TONS of folks wearing the new 49er basic uniforms, but I've only encountered a handful of Chiefs. Appears Mahomes, Kelce and Andy Reid have lived long enough to become the villain.

Just some perspective from the other side. 
 

I took a half season break to play MLB the show through the fall after playing mut from launch for the last 4-5 seasons. The grind constantly had me burned out by this time. 
 

changed up this year and waited to jump in on the Playoffs sale when it went 70% off, and have had so much more fun vs keeping up with the +1 creep throughout the early part of the season. 
 

fills the gap nicely through March when show 24 launches, then can taper off madden into the summer. Completely changed the way I approached building my squad and facing god squads.

You guys should’ve played back in the days they had 99 overall cards right from the release of the game lol.  Those were the best days of Mut. Trade block was wild because the auction had a sale cap of 300k. Cards were valued at more than that so the only way to obtain them was through the trade block, or through forum websites where you’d trade 2 for 1 and stuff like that.  Spend all day just fielding offers placed on your cards on the trade block. The biggest glitch was rocket catching which actually took some skill to do. I could never do it haha. Was none of the YouTube BS glitch plays. Everyone could have a competitive team. Literally. gold cards like polomalu, Patrick Willis, Brady, ect were 99 and their sale cap was 30k lol. And they had sets where you’d collect all the away uniforms for 125k and all the home for 125k. Some sets awarded a million coins. Getting 99 overall players from collecting stadiums or silver and bronze cards.  Those were the glory days. Game was active right to the very end.

How can you get a 70/70 Sb + 25 49ers?

Can Superbowl promo players such as Chase Young get both chems?

H2H is awful. Every single game is Bunch Offset and 6-1. I might be done for the year.

this is peak madden really. I've said this in another thread of how can they top this? and literally they can't. I've notice that some of my friends either checked out or their play is not as great at these late stages of MUT

The game is horrendous. Same teams, same players and abilities, same schemes, nobody does anything original since EA has pretty much punished people for not playing meta. 
 

Not to mention they are making the rewards from the passes worse as the seasons go on. Season 5 we will probably get a fantasy ZC pack with a 93 like we got a 92 Harvest for this season. Soon we will be getting 98-99 overalls and EA is handing out low 90s for grinding. Every single promo has turned out to be a money grab and they have all been terrible, nothing but copy and paste bullshit.

Oh yeah it's dying fast bro. EA cashgrabs and sweaty meta money spenders are pushing all the normal people who don't no life the game away. I'm going to be done with this game sooner than later.... if I keep losing in the playoffs to the same meta losers with thousand dollar teams I will absolutely delete the game.

This is about all I’ve been doing. Feels more rewarding and a bit quicker too
