This game is unplayable from EU.

I’ve tried the past week to get into online games Like draft, ranked and champs. 

first of all I’m terrible, but not that terrible to lose against the sorry people online. 
the delay is so bad 75% of my games it’s almost impossible to score a pat You have to guess half a second on your meter. 
 

I don’t know if it’s servers or average American connection that’s bad. I’m on a 1000/1000 mbit connection. 
 

it’s just really frustrating because back in mut 20, it was 15-20% of my games that were this bad. I could win in the weekend league mode back then 12-17 times. Now I win 6 in champions.

It doesn’t improve your connection, and you may already know this, but you can set your default coin toss selection to Kick (instead of Receive), which will let you gauge your latency from the outset. If you receive and score a touchdown on your first drive, go for two.

On PAT’s, I never kick full strength on the meter. If I press the button when the meter is halfway up, I get an advance warning of when I need to be pressing the button on the ‘downswing’. When I’ve got an iced kicker, I try to be lined up on the left hash mark and press the button slightly early. When I’m kicking on bad latency, I try to be closer to the right hash mark.

Im in the uk (scotland) and most of my online games in mut are fine although i get the same issue you are describing in CUT, very frustrating

You may want to try a VPN, which may improve your latency by utilizing a different internet path to the EA servers. Specifically, there's a company called WTFast that provides a service that's tailored for gaming, which may help you. I've never tried it from the EU, so I can't say whether it will help, but I think they offer a free trial so it may be worth a try.

I’ve tried but on some 3rd or 4th down I can’t quick snap at all on a tough short down.

im from germany aswell and its like 30%perfect connection/40%mid connection/30%unplayable for me but i feel like giving honest feedback at the end of a match made my connection better

For 2 games then back to lag

I'm in America with a good connection and there's lag.. The serves are just messed up. EA is messed up stealing money from us and giving us crappy service

Thought i had just gotten worse, turns out my dorm wifi is just shit and have been doing well since moving back for break
