This is exactly what I was worried about with Sauce

First pass his way he runs deep and jumps for the Int and it tips up off his hands.  Luckily Dawkins was there to get the tip but that's why 79 catching on a 97 OVR 2 mil coins card is a problem.

I didn't have Pick artist because I wanted outside shade and acrobat

Honestly he doesn‘t look much better than Jaylen Watson if you look at the attributes. (Watson actually looks better in run support and has +1 ACC with the SB strat)

No way I’m spending 2 MIL because he‘s an Honors card and 1” taller. Crazy to me that his price is so high.

Agreed, Watson looks better to me as well. Sauce is a big name though and people are impatient. Usually depends on whoever pulls the card first

agreed... sauce has great physical stats but bad play rec and catching are no goes for me. and only two custom buckets compared to SB and GG cards makes him not worth 1.7 mill. I can get mills and bradberry for that price, both are better. Free Woolen is a better sauce, better catching and coverage and an extra inch of height. Even warden is a better card imo. Maybe I'm biased as someone who runs zone but I don't think I'll get sauce unless he gets to like 900k.

Pretty sad EA disrespected all these honors players when they should all be the best at their positions (besides Geno) when released. Jefferson is only wr2-3 and Wilson and sauce barely top 5 at their positions. Only amazing card from Honors is Bosa.

Agree completely. Sad thing is even Chubb looks better on paper than Bosa, especially from an ability standpoint.

fair... I use a secondary fmv strat on my ball hawk card so he's 99bsh and 99fmv on my team. has played amazing so far with ETE and unpredictable. I got JJettas day one too because I have a tt, so 99 speed is great, and with all the boosts he is the best receiver in the game, just should have been that way without having a tt. I wanted to get sauce just don't see who he'd replace on my team and not worth anywhere close to what he's going for.

I run mostly man so Sauce is great in that regard. I just wish I could get PA and outside shade together for a decent AP cost. 

That's what kills this card for me

As a man press CB he's better than Mills, Warden , and Bradberry because of discounted outside shade and acrobat.

But the way the ability buckets are set, it kind of nullifies that advantage. 

To update his gameplay, I did have 2 picks with him after my initial post but he fumbled one....so 2.picks,  a dropped picks, and.a.fumble. Not the best start for a 1.2 mil card

Well, sounds like pick artist is a need for every card, just like it has been since…. December? Dropped picks and fluke happen way too much not to use pick artist

Well, if his catching was say, 92 it would be different..I could possibly get away with not having PA. But not being able to put it on a card of this caliber and price is probably a deal breaker. I'll probably sell him . I have outside shade but no PA on Revis and he doesn't drop INTs. When I had Haynes as my # 2 CB he had inside shade and PA for 2 AP total. That's the best ability combo for a man CB in Madden IMO

agreed, an honors card should never have a catching stat this low , and his traits shouldnt be nearly as bad as they are. hoping we get a great ultimate legends cb.

did you try the other ward? believe he gets outside shade and PA for 2ap.

It's crazy what name value does to certain cards. Justin Jefferson is over 1 million still but I'd argue he's worse than AJ Green, Scary Terry, and MVS.

For sure, Scary Terry and A.J. have both been solid for me. MVS never got anything going so I sold him. Looks like Carmichael will be back tomorrow though!
