Made a thread earlier about LT being similar or if better, maybe only a little better than TJ Watt yet hes 200k plus more is it worth it should I sell LT and get Watt instead etc

Seems overnight LT has dropped in value by over 100k hes now only about ONE hundred K more than Watt. Wtf lol is it really just because Parsons came out? Could it be something else? Did the market as a whole go back down some today compared to the inflated market weve seen this week?

Probably just keep Taylor at this point right? Lol

Keep Taylor...as for the market...it fluctuates and I'm sure Parsons does have something to do with it...and in another week or two a 94 will come out and Taylor will be darn near worth training...but that is how MUT rolls. If you are having fun with the Taylor card...keep rolling with it and just enjoy it.

Parsons came out. That’s why LT went down. Simple as that. It will settle when people get familiar with the cards and make preferences.

I believe you are exactly correct here, the markets tend to ebb and flow based purely on the hype machine. It's rarely about which cards are actually better, prices will fluctuate as people chase their favorite players / theme teams. Cowgrrls are almost always going to be in high demand... `Murica's team, blah blah blah. Typically we expect market crash around Xmas, but EA was so scrooge mcduck this year that somehow the opposite seems to have happened.

The only silver lining here is that EA is finally making it really hard for me to keep caring about this bullshit. Holy hell, i certainly hope i'm still not wondering what MUT presents are about in 2024. This isn't getting better.

Spot on about making it hard to care. I used to count every coin, sell every last card in my binder instead of quicksell anything, never buy players, etc...

It has gotten to the point now that you can never truly predict what the market will do. EA has thrown so many curveballs to shake prices up or down massively.

I stopped caring. Blew a massive portion of the coins to buy whoever I wanted. Truly enjoy the team now, so honestly don't care about them losing their coin value.

Much more fun now.

Have you tried LT or TJ Watt or any other Zero Chill players lately? Genuinely curious. Organic pass rush barely exists, so it's hard to believe i'm really missing out on much. I've got speed off the edge with hopefully premier block shedding and other important stats, but still hardly seems to matter. No DE abilities seem to trigger consistently. What formations do you typically run -- 3 or 4 down linemen sets?

EA has stripped my auction house access already twice this year. So my ability to acquire new cards has been extremely limited, I've got a letter printed to send to EA's legal department, but i'm too lazy or can't be bothered to make a special trip to the post office to send yet another certified letter. It's expensive to be stupid and i'm a grade-A moron for still hoping there's a good Madden Ultimate Team experience out there somewhere.

As you pointed out, it's way more fun to approach this casually -- i actually had a blast playing offline H2H with my 10 year old son over break. We've made it through multiple games without major bugs or glitches destroying the fun factor. Despite how much we both love the NFL, we simply were not able to play Madden together when he was younger, as it almost always resulted in him leaving in tears due to some bullshit in-game mechanics that are downright broken. I also started casually tinkering with NBA2K 24. It's also very much pay to win, but i'm not really playing online, just with the kid or random offline modes for fun and it's not terrible. It's refreshing to get real-time game updates piped directly into the game. Really basic stuff that Madden is entirely missing. My coin stack has dwindled, i was intending to grind a bunch of MUT H2H over break, but there hasn't been any new House Rules game mode, I already completed the Zero Chill field pass, so not sure if/when i'll bother with the rest of the Solo Challenges, feels liek a huge waste of time so i can unlock an 85 OVR Harvest player as my "presents" or whatever terrible rewards await us.

Glad you're finding ways to have fun, i'm hoping to follow your great example. It's been difficult to readjust my school of thought. Hoping for a fair, balanced and competitive gameplay experience in MUT is delusional. I signed up for simulation fatball, this has been anything but.
