This Richardson Combine Card

Is the best QB I have ever used in MUT. First h2h season with him went 8-2 with a Super Bowl win and 13 td passes to only 3 interception. He added 26 Carries for 236 yards and 6 TDs on the ground as well. Once his unstoppable escape artist activates it’s a wrap. Sorry NewJerooz but i wasn’t going to lose that Super Bowl. Even being down 8-0 then fumbling at the 1 yard line right before halftime after taking a hit stick from your avalanche Bo jackson Keeping the score 8-0. Still wasn’t giving in. You were a worthy opponent but I needed those trophy packs 😂

I am very much enjoying the Anthony Richardson Combine card too I like PLE as an X-factor setting him apart from the Bo Jackson QB. I was willing to roll with Aikman for that reason but then they dropped Richardson who has similar abilities but a lot of speed. If they give us a mobile Trad 4 QB with PLE X-Factor it’s over that’s my endgame QB.

He’s so good. I’m 70/70 Super Bowl and 25/50 combine so he has 99 speed andI run him with GS SFL gift wrapped and Escape Artist Xfactor all for a whopping 3 AP combined. He’s definitely the best QB I have used all year and possibly ever in MUT.

I agree he is awesome. I just don’t take off and run as much as I used to after using Aikman for a bit, so I run PLE and SFL and GW/GS I don’t use the escape artist because I’m not running him as much and throw set feet until the 9 plays are up and then I’m going all velocity all the time. Im 70/30 Hybrid right now SB Combine. If I run into situations where I scramble with him more I will switch the PLE for Escape Artist.

I dont think you need the PLE x-factor if you are running SFL.  They essentially do the same thing, unless the x-factor version is something different than what the PLE ability is.  If it is, my apologies.

I swapped to Richardson to mess around w/ escape artist, and he really is a fun QB.  Have won a ton of SB runs w/ him the past few days.  Will be hard to get off him until theres another QB w/ the same stack/xfactors.  I run 8 AP on him (GW, GS, SFL, Roaming and HRM).

The PLE is SFL without needing to have feet set it is a little redundant but it’s not costing me extra ap. Once he powers up I can make the SFL throws while moving around the pocket for instance that’s what PLE gives you I think the SFL velocity without needing be a set feet throw. It plays well so I’ll keep it though a little redundant till I want the escape artist ability. I don’t take off and run enough for needing that at the moment.

mind dropping your team? I'm on 71 SB and 30 Combine - but not sure if I can lose Mahomes x7 chem for SB to change to Richardson.

Haven’t been tried Bo because this Richardson I pulled from that 2800 point offer for a change at a LTD. I moved on from 99 Mahomes because he impressed me so much.

You definitely don't need to run SFL + PLE, they're both adding velocity to your passes. If you don't want to wait 9 plays for PLE to kick in, I'd also do exactly what you're doing, by using SFL. If you want to pass on the move, simply let up off the R2 trigger before you throw, should allow SFL to kick in, similar to how Roaming Deadeye works. It's a little glitchy, works almost 100% of plays.

I've been running Bo with Master Tactician then using a couple (Slot and TE) Apprentice abilities, so I can get by as 9 plays can be a really long time, liek often two drives.

Old Gen so no Master Tactician but I have a few apprentice abilities at play so it’s all good. I may switch over to the Escape Artist though if I notice I’m not using the PLE enough that doubling it up is necessary. Ill try letting of of R2 and letting the SFL work and reflect on if I really need PLE.

Escape artist was nerfed like 2 years ago; you can run just as well with him without escape artist ; the pursuit is just too good and the QB acceleration with escape artist is almost the same as without it

EA has become an X factor that isn't OP at all anymore. I'd keep it off of any QB even if you run with your QB.

Always coming through with the extremely relevant advice.  I lack sufficient historical context to understand these type things -- that seems to be half the battle with this game, figuring out which abilities actually work (or are as described) versus which barely do anything at all.  And none of this information is available from playing the game, we're essentially forced to do homework and/or consult with experts such as Martyr to take us to school on such important topics.

Much obliged, as always.  Thank you so much for educating me/us.  Abilities are essentially everything with the current state of the game (or always, at least the limited time i've been playing again in recent years).
