fields is basically a pocket passer, his CAR is so horrible, I quicksold him pretty fast, would rather use Vick than Fields, I think Lamar is way better than Fields, but I see what you're saying, Fields is good enough, I used RGIII for a very long time before moving on

I prefer HRM because I like using different rpute combos once I see what the defense is up to.
Being able to reshape the route concept is important to me on offense. I can turn a run formation into a flood.concept... the Texas route, the HRM corner (which is a little different than the stock corner route).and the cross route are 3 of the best routes in the game
So for now. I prefer Montana until another HRM QB comes out (not the X Factor HRM which is only on for a few plays and. Is hard to trigger)
didn't realize I could put texas on the HB with HRM good call that route is fire, I call plays with that route, TE Option from gun doubles IE

tested both and realized I was wrong about gunslinger (wrong about herd being wrong)
I will also say here - I came to the conclusion that gunslinger is better than quickdraw and gunslinger is actually a really good ability, in the thread where I tested them I link the abilities source
this is the conclusion: gunslinger automatically activates (passspeedmod) while quickdraw only activates while under pressure, I misinterpreted the code (on abilities website) which was why I came to wrong conclusion and I was wrong
I just finished a game where I had gunslinger, protected and hot route master on Aikman, I scored 55 points and won 55-51 and Aikman had at least 5 passing TDs and 450+ passing yds
strong arm QBs with gunslinger and hot route master are now my favorite over mobile QBs, also the fact Aikman is 6'4" feels like it makes a difference as well, Aikman with gunslinger has a much quicker release than without it and he has an absolute cannon, starting to feel more comfortable being a pocket passer

I used to be that way w/ pocket passers, I don't know why but the way the game is currently I need a mobile QB, having the option of getting loose and picking up yards changes the whole game for me this year. I had a guy that was usering the d-line out of some formation last night and it was just getting to me insanely quick before routes could even develop, if I couldn't move away from him there would have been nothing I could do, he was usering hargrave and just getting instant pressure, like my line wasn't even there just running straight at me.

have you tried using protected ? it makes a noticeable difference to me, pretty much never don't have it on my QB
when somebody is getting quick pressure I try to counter by throwing to the flat / underneath, hb screens / RPO's, at least one of those should work okay depending

AP is too scarce to use protected IMO. It makes a small difference sometimes. On most routes is not really noticeable. Would rather use gift-wrapped, SFL, GS, HRM.
Linchpin is. Ok but there's a lot better cards then Kelce now and again, IMO it's not with the AP.

I haven't tested set feet lead (SFL) but it's 4 AP (it's okay as the X-factor but since I throw underneath decent amt I wont end up activating it much)
also Aikman was already throwing rope bullet lead passes for me without it - the x-factor would probably make sense for most though
I've noticed a difference using protected, I'd rather use protected than linchpin, if understand the block mechanic behind running (basically don't hit sprint or blockers release their blocks - don't need linchpin as much)
agree on using the 5 AP for GS / HRM on Aikman
I don't have a huge problem with drops ATM, I'd rather use tough nut than gift-wrapped, especially if not using any blocking APs, it looks like if you put tough nut on 1 lineman it may impact the whole line
seems like we differ on those last 2 APs but agree on the first 5

I've been using him since Saturday and by far and away the best QB in the game. I've tried everyone and sold Lamar after using Aikman.
I run SFL xfactor and Gunslinger and giftwrapped. He throws perfect dots to every receiver. Never had an over throw and pressure doesn't cause the ball to go wild.
Sure I can't scramble as easy like i could with lamar, but I never found my self scrambling much to begin with.
