Played one game of the beta against the CPU since I didn't have much time while I'm working here, initial quick thoughts:
- Blitz on all madden is insane, you have 3 seconds or less against the CPU to pass
- Not sure how the new passing works, I see a meter pop up but doesn't feel much different from leading bullet passes so far, need to try it more
- movement is way smoother, using Micah Parsons with 93 speed and 74 CoD and it felt way better than M22 felt last year at this point in time, not sure if the stats are reflected properly as it didn't feel like 74 CoD
- Dig the new presentation elements, looks more like what you see on TV with the player poses in their unis and pop up graphics when making plays
- Zone coverage is tight, new coach adjustment to toggle between default and match coverage for all zones
- Cowboys have a new weak and full house formation in their playbook
- 46 playbook doesn't have nickel 335 and 335 wide, it's now 33 cub, looks similar though
- ball in air mechanics are cool, see more jostling for position between receiver and db, no longer a guaranteed pick, my db dropped plenty of passes in their hands if the receiver was in position to break up the play, more realistic
- there appears to be tackle battle mechanics, noticed it asking me to mash A to try to gain more yards and fight the tackle
I'll see if I have anything else to add later as I play more, no time now, work in the way haha.
I didnt find it right away, but if you go into settings, you can adjust the passing mechanics to better fool with it. Default is tricky, BUT, you have the option to slow down the passing (I set mine to slowest) so that you can actually adjust the pass, power and accuracy on the fly depending on which setting you choose. The slowing down is out freaking standing! Most likely won't be a feature in H2H modes I would guess, but man it'll make solos sooooo much more fun! The options to choose between power lead and power plus accuracy is on point for more advanced players. I am doing just power as doing both right now is really tough to do. These options I think will bring a lot of fun to the game for sure!

I set it to both power and accuracy and my take was based on that. It felt similar to leading bullet passes with just more feedback on where you were placing it. The CPU seems to do it very well on slants, you run with the player and they'll pass lead up on the slant instead of ahead so it's just out of reach. Pretty cool to see.
Still need to mess with it more and play with the slow down to see how that will be used, I didn't mess with that setting.
