They both got drafted. The promo is for guys the got drafted but werent successful but are famous actors
I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they’re doing this promo because they’re losing rights to retired players/or they’re opting out ATM. Who knows, but there are so many more deserving cards past & present cards in MUT that deserve a new card instead of this crap. That’s just my opinion.

I’m not necessarily a fan of it, just because I don’t care much for the cards so far. But I think it’s a fun idea and like that ea is trying something new. I don’t get why everyone is complaining about this like the most used card in the game isnt Bo jackson at QB. Which also goes with the fact that if you’re complaining that they didnt do much in the nfl (which is kind of the point of the promo) Bo jackson wasn’t that good statistically but he gets countless cards every year
