at ths point dont call this game a sim anymore, this is a modern day nfl blitz, if EA wants to go this route they need to just call it what it is, focus on fun instead of realism, feels like they are stuck in between

Funny how the same people ripping on this promo are the people complaining on how EA does the same thing every year and use 6 Bo Jackson’s and Pat McAfee at MLB. Ea was listening to you guys, so they came up with something creative.
They are real people who were at least signed at one point by NFL teams even if their careers didn’t pan out. It’s honestly an original idea and better than 5 Bo’s or 10 different 6’7+ OOP players.
I do think they’ve done a terrible job of upgrading a lot of current players and I get people’s frustrations with that. But this promo is small potatoes compared to some of the other issues plaguing MUT this year.
Just roll with it. If you can accept fictitious anime characters, Rich Eisen, Terry Tate, Escape The Artist and Leon Sandcastle in the game, then this is not any worse, as they are humans that actually played in the NFL. This is also the game where Santa and his elves play in games at Christmas. Can't wait until the Marvel promo, where the Hulk, the Thing and Colossus line up against Juggernaut, Thanos and the Blob in the trenches.
