Throw a lob pass in Zero Chill solo help

I’ve been re playing this solo for 20 min and the lob pass won’t register. How did you guys get past this ?

Just tap the button. i usually lob it to the RB

I ran 4 verticals to complete the challenge. Had to try a few times cause it kept saying touch pass.

I know what you're talking about. I had the same problem: 90% of my taps would register as touch passes instead of lobs. That was because of bad input lag. I accidentally fixed it by setting google DNS addresses in my network settings: 

• 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for IPv4.
• 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844 for IPv6.

Helpful tip: you can lob pass a screen to the halfback for a short distance lob.  
I found that useful because you have to throw like 5 passes and lobs typically go mid-deep
