Tinfoil Hat Conspiracy

Alright guys, lock your doors and put on your tinfoil hats. Tell no one else. Not even your loved ones. We never can know if EAs spies are close. We can’t let this info get back to EAs servers in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. I think that the core elites will be 85 ovr max this year. Meaning 88s this year will be like 85s this year. My gut is saying this because the AKAs are 85s, and the RPs are 84s. I don’t think EA would give core elitea that much of an advantage over core elites and AKA bosses. I also think thag Hutch will be good because he’ll be a way higher overall basing it on that they’re 3 ovr less than him. That was my conspiracy. I’m like 65% confident on this sooo… if I’m wrong I’m not going to be too dissatisfied. But, the reason I think they are doing this is to slow the pace of the new ovrs this year to make the game longer. I think they tried this year but it didn’t work because of dual AP buckets on GC that made them rush out 99s. That’s their endgame, making Mut longer, making more cards, making more money. That’s EA

I hope that’s the case but I think we’ll still see some top core elites be 87-88. The reality is the overall of the core elites were never the issue- the main issue is how fast they come out with crazy high overalls. Literally in the first week they drop legends that are higher overalls than everyone else and raise the bar off the rip. I wish they took the FIFA approach and raise overalls more slowly. Literally only a select few of FIFA legends are high rated off the rip, a lot of them are mid-80s

Would definitely make the RPs being 84s better. But I just don't see them giving you almost the best team ovr wise in game day 1. I think core will elites maybe max out in the 85-87 range

I think OP is on to something because....not everyone was sitting on 10mil and prepared to complete the rp.set. at the same time, EA will also give some sort of update after the sets expire, making those that didn't do it at all have regrets

Like I mentioned in another thread. I agree. I think we’re gonna be seeing 85 OVR Mahomes, Aaron Donald, Davante, etc. 

Aiden could well be the best player in the game the first 2 weeks.

I don’t necessarily think that’s going to happen either though. I personally believe the lower OVRs will be due to more chemistry related promos earlier on in the year. I’m think early versions of Theme Team Remix type promos or AKA motivators. Around Dec still we‘ll still have 99 speed players (with boosts) even at 95 OVR stock.
