since switching to next gen i just cannot play good offense anymore. any tips or help would be greatly appreciated
Hit the lab, it’s probably a mixture of timing the passes differently and the blitz/man meta on new gen. Might need to lab a new scheme. Gun tight offset TE out of Saints book is a good starter scheme if you want something that’s easy to use.
Throw the short to medium routes. Anything over 30 yards your interception chance increases. Even throwing deep on single coverage is 50/50 at best.
Find a formation that has plays to beat every coverage then hit the lab
I had (have) the same issue...what I did was find all the formations in my PB that have an outside run, inside run and mesh pass play. Then I run those 10 formations over and over in every mode I play. I managed to get 4 of them down pat where I can work in other then mesh and having much better success. Running the same type of play (mesh in my case) makes it much easier...the formation looks different, but the reads are similar. Good luck to ya...it will come to you.

thanks, i think i'll try that formation. why do you say it's easy to use?
They timing mechanics are a but different this year. Last year as soon they they made the first step you could throw it. This year on next gen you need to wait till they are almost out of thier break. BUT as other have said find a book you like and stick with it. Lab one formation at a time. The concepts still work the same as previous years to beat the different coverages. But focus on man beaters first because that is what everyone runs h2h.

It is great at countering the blitz heavy meta with little adjustments. It’s a compressed set so that stops your recievers being pressed and jammed at the line and has some great stock plays. The corner routes on bench kill man coverage, and the verts as well. The trap run is solid also. And then you have the trusty mesh.
