There's games when I struggle to stop the run. I'm not pass committing either. Ive thought about going with 2-3 inside stuffs and 1-2 outside stuffs and to focus most of my AP on run stopping abilities. Any tips on shooting gaps? I went into practice mode and had little success at shooting the gap. I'm on old gen and I know the run game is more difficult to stop on old gen. Sometimes I'll call a play where a safety will come up and blitz and that can help sometimes. I usually punch my line. I do have to upgrade my DT's cause I have TC Adams and Siragusa and I have Caveman in the bench that I'll probably power up and use him at DT with 1ap inside stuff. My DE are Bruce Smith and chase young so my DE's are fine.
As far as abilities go im wondering if you could build a run stopping scheme that would shut down any run game? Most players that run alot aren't the best passers. Or put 4 inside stuffs on my line, I wonder how well that would work?
