Surprised that the guy who apparently makes 6 figures a year has such low reading comprehension levels....

frostybirdman said:Please elaborate. How is me calling EA out for their greed not factual? Or the fact that this glitch impacted folks in a way that benefited them, whereas they wouldn’t have been able to benefit if the packs were correct? For those that missed out, I feel for you, but the chain reaction from this is that because so many eggstravagant eggs were pulled, the top end cards that hatch from these eggs will actually be MUCH CHEAPER on Easter morning. Simple supply and demand economics. Therefore, everyone will get some benefit from this, even those who didn’t get to participate this am.
1. EA is a company. Companies make money. Please stop with the shock that 'companies just want to make money, they don't care about us.'.
2. Every glitch this year has been worse and worse for the user. This latest one didn't benefit the community, it benefitted a small number of users who exploited the market and caused inflation across the market.
3. No one is going to keep those eggs until Sunday because they'll be banned. They're liquidating them now, that's what is causing the rapid inflation across the market.
4. This is going to push people away from the game because while an extravagant egg wasn't out of the average user's reach we all have to deal with all cards rising in price and multiple locked cards preventing sets from being made, making them unable to be sold on the marketplace, and making the entire Madden ecosystem the most toxic its been all year.

I agree with all of this. I think some people forget that the vast majority of players are not on Madden on a weekday morning for new drops. Most don’t even turn their console on everyday. All they see is inflated prices which in turn makes their coin stack and training less valuable. Tbh if it weren’t end of the game cycle something like this would actually entice me to spend money on packs so I could catch up to the market. EA would make even more money off me 😂
Happy for all that were able to get in on it but let’s not pretend like this is a good thing for the greater community.

I’m not shocked by EA’s greed - it’s the reason they had money offer in store a week before they implemented egg rolls , because they wanted people to either buy their bundle, or do those expensive sets. Corporate greed is everywhere, and we already knew this about EA.
You’re wrong about the keeping eggs / banned portion. The last TVP glitch put a stupid amount of coins in players‘ pockets, and they instantly “washed” those coins in the market, buying up cards. People knew this and listed cards for well over the median price, which triggers EA’s bot detection. THAT’S what causes the bans, not keeping the LTD’s (or in today’s case, the eggs.) Those that buy/sell cards on the auction house today run that same risk. I’m not quick selling any of my eggs from today because I actually want to have some fun opening them Sunday.
While this does inflate the coin stacks of a small percentage of the player base, the best thing anyone can do is sit tight until Easter morning and snipe/buy the cards they want for their teams at an extreme discount. Historically Easter morning has always had a market crash from opening eggs, and today’s glitch only means that there will be an even larger crash. Sure a lot of the smaller QS value eggs will likely be QS’d for training, but if this site‘s egg guesses are correct, you’ll see ROH and the 99 Mahommes cards tank out. Watch and see.

This is exactly why Pack Strike didn't work and why the game still is the way it is. No matter how many people EA pisses off, there are still so many that are willing to spend hundreds, if not thousands, on the game every year. They'll only change if that stops, which I don't see happening anytime soon.
It always cracks me up that bugs will exist in this game for the entire year but it seems like within 20 minutes or so they will have any exploit shutdown. The exploits do screw over the players who aren't beside an Xbox for every drop and I do think people who spend real money will eventually get tired of this.
This game seems to be intended to be a giant suck of all your time. Especially the most the recent requirements to gain XP. I just feel like ea wants you in front of a screen all the time and to kick you in the nuts while you are at work they just gave god squads, training and coins to someone who just started playing through game pass or some shit like that.
The rewards are also sub par at best.
