I don't know how that would happen without EA screwing up. Maybe they got really luck and pulled him from the 500 coin pack which is practically free?

If you mean with the TOTW tokens, those go into a set for a free Team of the Year player once that program drops. Can't use the tokens on a TOTW player.

No clue who said that. Maybe they were referring to the TOTW fantasy pack that you could get from solos last year that gave you the choice of 1 of 4 random totw champions? It's possible that we get something like that this year, but I wouldn't count on it.
