TOTW token exchange

Why is 87 the highest exchange we are allowed so far?  Has anyone done this exchange yet?

Because for some reason you can only use the TOTW tokens on hero's (not champions). 87 is the highest overall for TOTW hero's at the moment. Presumably there will be a new set when the hero's jump to 88 overall.

My guess is we'll have the 88 heroes set today when TOTW drops later this afternoon

the sets are kind of useless unless you need a random back up TT player.

I feel like this is a trap and there's gonna be some big set that requires a lot of tokens later in the year. Anyone else think this is possible, or am I trippin here and just need to use my tokens? But the 87s are legit useless now anyway, just like the 88s will be, lmao...and I'm NMS.

I got a very late start as usual this year.  I usually only come in when OVR start to hit 90/91.  This year the TOTW tokens aren't for TOTY players?  If not, they I can stay away from those challenges.

There are separate tokens for TOTY players that are currently clogging everyone's binders - they'll clog yours too after you do all the of the retrospective weeks' challenges. :)

I am hoping for the same. The tokens on the current available TOTW players is useless at this point so I just have them collecting dust for now. It would have been more reasonable if we had the option to use those Hero players to help build a Champion TOTW player.
