TOTY in march??

I get not wanting to have duplicates, but March is way too late for TOTY. March would have been fine if it was Position Heroes, but not for a program that's essentially the All Pro team that was already announced. This is the time of year when we should get tons of content since the NFL season is coming to an end and most of the player base will quit the game soon.

On the flip side, TOTY is a popular promo that could entice some people to play later after the Super Bowl. It also provides a lot of high end cards that will help bridge the gap some until  Sugar Rush. However, they could have filled that gap with another promo like Backyard Ballers, GG part 2, Position Heroes, etc. instead.

February is definitely pushing it since we got TOTY on 1/24 and 1/25 the last 2 years. I could deal with the 2nd week of February right after the Super Bowl though. Right now it seems like we won't even see voting until mid-February.

I guess they are just trying to draw out the shelf life of the game.  I guess they figure having us vote for them is good but most likely the people voting will not give the people who actually deserve a TOTY a card.  So that puts us in the same boat as when EA picks the TOTY players and they are headscratchers.  I also get they dont want to give out TOTY and then have someone win an award but with the way they did cards this year.  YOu could still give a plus one to that person and then juice the discount abilities.  Willdcard sucks and Im already kind of bored with the game so I was looking forward to TOTY this week or next.  Im not sure there have ever been a game developer that is so out of touch with their fan base as EA.

Fr they never listen to the people who actually play their game. Its so bad the game is so dry rn.

content reveal tonight better be good, or I'm liquidating for the next month till honors and TOTY. no point playing the game when your tt players are getting passed by and even the god squad players and newer players coming out are bland. look at this weeks AKA drop, the were all mid.

Yeah last year it was great, you could run 25 and 25 and it was worth it. Legends team killed the team building part of the game.

I have a legend TT right niw and spend alot of time team building and optimizing still to be honest.

even thought about going back to a normal TT not that they gave all these strat boosts and double chem cards

That is what I am saying, they needed the shot in the arm this week to keep the game alive.  They totally whiffed on Comp Pass this week as the rewards are trash.   I think everyone thought that Wildcards would be the spark to renew interest but that is a huge flop.  The LTDs of Warner and McAllister also really do not move the needle.  EA cant honestly look at the content and say that players are going to love it.  Well maybe they can because they dont play the game themselves.

my problem with legends is everyone runs it, the same 22 players you play game after game.

yeah give a 94 and upgrade to 96 before a bunch of 89's are upgraded. Guys like Jefferson, Sauce,  Stephon Diggs, Surtain, Woolen, Bosa, Parsons, Ramsey etc are top players this year and should be updated the most frequently, I'd say every +3 overall type of thing. Idk why its so hard for EA to figure it out. Instead they give us an upgrade for a QB who nobody used last time he was dropped. And there are numerous legends who should get upgrades first like Moss, Playmaker, Rice, Montana, McDaniel, Lawrence Taylor, Strahan and there's so many more.

There will be plenty of other useful cards in the run up to it.

I feel you I used coins to get a shit ton of training for the 37k toty rolls and now I’m pissed the playoffs promo is trash Field passes are a chore it’s just bad rn Seahawks tt is terrible its bad rn

March is literally just 5 weeks away.

TOTY should have been in March this whole time tbh.

Every other year the TOTY players get their 96 from this promo and then that's their last card. The best players in the NFL for the year are stuck with 96s, only having a chance to get a better card if someone picks them to be a Golden Ticket.

Putting the promo in March will allow the cards to be 98s or even 99s, like they should be.
