Troy/Atwater, SubLB vs SS

It's nice having both of these guys to run at SubLb, but then  what to do at deep SS?  When I go Dime I don't have to worry because I run one at SubLb and one deep....

As to who is a better user....Troy's stats seem to suggest him but Atwater is taller and he just gets me some great lurks that I haven't yet seen with Troy.

I was running Derrick Johnson with lurker at SubLb but LB's just don't jump, even with lurker I rarely see him animate. Another thing I have tried that worked ok is Lott or Holland at SS, they get secondary position there.

What are you guys running and what';s your preference for SubLb, user, and SS?

I personally run Troy at SS, Lott at FS, Holland and Atwater at Sub LB, and keep Hyde and Delpit in by binder just in case.  I am hoping they drop an LTD Kam tomorrow as well to keep my options open.

I actually start Micha's high end card at FS, he makes plays ...usually leads my team in tackles....I like Lott too. I have Kam's 87 and it did nothing for me, hopefully his next card will have more impact

Yeah if you can afford it, this is the go to.

87 Kam up top or user should still be good up to this point. Only the legends and delpit would be close to him. Not sure how youre using him but something isnt right there.

I am glad you are having success with him, but Kam's speed is slow compared to the other cards out there. I mean, you really can't compare him to Atwater or Troy right now. Those cards really are ahead of him.  He's sluggish and his COD is kinda low for a user. I've had a fast WR  run right past him......

My D is 90 OVR....that Kam card really is not up to par for me with what's out there now.....it hasn't been in my lineup for a while. IIn contrast I ran a few HR games with Atwater as my user and I won 3 of them with pick sixes , 2 as a user and one playing deep. I don't think I had one pick 6 with Kam and maybe 1 user pick with him in at least a full season worth of games. I had more user picks with LT of all people.

Can't stand Delpit, horrible traits...doesn't animate. Atwater, Micah, even Lott, all animate....haven't really used Troy much yet but I am sure he gets animations also.  Traits mean a lot this year

Yeah the legends are a step up for sure. But Delpit is about the best moderately priced SS we have. Kam beats him in BSH, IBL, STR, TAK vs Delpit not beating him any stats. 

So if youre not wanting to drop 300k+ then he works great. I actually picked up Micah to user knowing wed get Troy so I skipped Kam. Theres only like 4 traits that actually matter (and only when CPU controlled): Clutch, Big Hit, High Motor, and brace for hits. Even then they dont make a big enough impact. Someone last year went through the trouble of testing it all out. I dont recall who but its out there.

Honestly, I am sitting with about 2.2Mil coins right now so I can and do spend some coins on high end cards...I started the year with one of those Platinum bundles and hit 2 87's and 2 85's....I made like a mil coins right off that bundle alone. So I do go with Legends or the best players available. I Have LTD Demarcus, LTD Chandler, LTD DJ, Rickey, etc.....Delpit has nice stats, definitely. But today Rod is dropping and depending on how his secondary position looks, he may be my new starting FS over Lott/Micah. I would def prefer Woodson be a CB but I guess they are reserving that for the other Woodson

You can swap Woodson to a cb with the chem or just put him in. I have him as a cb for Steelers now.
