Trying to get back into the Game, Haven't Played since launch weekend.

Hello all, I am just getting back into the swing of things because I have not played this game since launch week. Is there any tips you can recommend for me in terms of players to take from solos (AKA/Legends) mostly. And tips for grinding the field passes available to me. This is all overwhelming for a player just jumping back into madden but I'm excited to build up a team with this long grind ahead of me. Any help is appreciated, Thanks all.

try to get all your solos out the way to get a AKA, legends player, and tons of others... then after all those accumulated coins are up i would wait until blitz starts aka the crashing of all the best cards atm.

and most important don't get burned out and have fun!

Welcome, welcome.  Happy to see you back here with us... all suffering together.  Misery loves company, eh?  Despite the many gripes with the current state of MUT, nothing quite hits liek the NFL and, for me personally, 49er fatball.

That being said, the above advice is stupendous.  However, be patient with the Legends reward pack (16 token set), as the last few weeks have been somewhat lackluster.  I'd highly encourage you to start with AKA.  Michael Vick 90 OVR upgrade is totally viable, he can become your QB1.  Not sure who to recommend for the AKA set, but this DRC looking pretty fierce.  Try to acquire some LB with the LurkArtist ability, they make absolutely fantastic user cards this year.  Most Feared has some decent options.

Market should fluctuate quite a bit this week once the Blitz promo drops.  Expect tons of folks to be investing in packs, which means the auction house should be flooded with incredible deals.  Have fun, be safe.  Even the 89 OVR Harvest Promo options are decent, you should expect lots of upgrades, knowing what positions of need will help influence your decision-making.  Defense is extremely difficult this year.

Definitely not getting burnt out so far! My goal is by blitz to get to the point where I’m only really grinding solo battles daily and not solo challenges. I just finished AKA solos tonight and got Terminator. I’m going to finish the Legends solos tonight and save the pack til Saturday. I feel we get a good WR or CB “Blitz” legend.

Lol. This has been my downfall in previous years like 21 and 22. I always bought packs through the year and couldn’t build a competitive team like ever. I was always rolling with a budget squad.

Thanks for this advice! i just finished the AKA solos and got terminator cuz I like using my BND choices on DL, MLB, and OL. For lurk artist I will use Ted Hendricks’ card until theres better options for a reasonable price. The other Lurk Artist I’ll get is probably Channing Crowders captain card. He’s slow but I’m hoping the ability makes up for it.

Love the AR PFP. And yeah I’m not new to madden ultimate team just this years game mode where everything seems changed. In 21 and 22 this was my downfall cuz I always had to use a budget team and I only had a META team in 23 cuz of glitches towards the end of the year.

Ahhh, I see you already know your way around. My bad, dude. I'm definitely not expert, but I'm currently testing the following ability stack on defense:

• 6AP, Deep Out Zone KO (x2) outside CBs - Tariq was free from MCS Twitch stream, sorry if you missed that. Riley probably going to be my second, but currently still have PS2 here with just Pick Artist. 
• 2AP, Deep In Zone KO FS- Ronnie Lott
• 1AP, LurkArtist - still using Crowder for +2SPD from 25/50 TT & 6/6 TC boost, but also have; Tate, Walker Jr. & big Ted, but gosh 2500 Training so expensive on Hendricks. 

I'm mostly just parroting what I've seen some comp guys running, YMMV. Everything is fairly new after most recent patch so you're getting in at a really good time... assuming Blitz isn't yet another huge clusterfuck.

Only getting half a Harvest promo, no House Rules (til just today, a week+ late), no TOTW, reduction from full Legends via Comp Pass rewards (at lvl 27 & 53) to now a measley 2x Legends packs, UGGH. Imagine doing that grind and getting a pair of 82s? Oof.

Anyhoo, sorry to ramble, that's my take on most recent MUT drama and updates, hope something in there is useful for ya, man. Welcome back. I nerd-rage on this game all the damn time, but still love it most off the time, but we deserve better. This is scary if this actually EA's best effort, at this point they've basically given up and aren't even pretending to try. That's just my two cents. Give em hell out there, man. You'll be all caught up by weekend if yer not already. Have fun.

Thank you for the recommendations I really appreciate it. I’ll keep in mind some of those abilities you noted and see which “budget” cards get those. I won’t look to upgrade my team until blitz though. just cuz of the market dropping. I only have 180K coins rn but if I can even get to 300k and get 3x 100k coin cards that are 89-90 I’ll be happy.
