UL Money making

UPDATE: UL OVR has been upgraded to 98, 96, 92, 88. The set requirement for 88 has changed compared to 87. You need 3x 85 86 and 1x 83 84 to make 88. This make it less profitable. 

Probably people are already using this I didn't saw any post about this so here it goes.

This money making is by using the 87, 91, 95 UL Fantasy Set to get 97 UL card for cheap price then sold on market.

TL;DR: Snipe cheap 85-86, 83-84 to make 87 UL card for under 15K per card, and snipe 4 cheap 91 under 40K per card. You need 21x87 and 4x91 which should total at around 455-475K for a 97 UL, and for popular card like Chad Johnson, Vick, C.Woodson, you can sell them for 600-700K on the weekend when it is released. 

Details:

We know that:

a 97 UL requires 1x95, 3x91, and 6x87 of its own player

There are also fantasy set which work as below:

2x 85-86, 1x83-84 = Any 87

5 x 87 = Any 91

4 x 91  = Any 95

Now, since I am on PC so I will take PC for example:

1. You can find cheap 85-86 or 83-84 for 5K or less, (sometimes 83 can be as low as 2K), this means you can spend around 15K for a 87

2. Sometimes there are UL 87 card sold for less than 15K, which you must steal, this further lower the cost. 

3. You can find some cheap UL 91 from 35-40K

To get a UL 97 

you need 6x 87 of its own player, which if you get from the 87 fantasy set, should cost about 90K (assume 15K per card)

you need 3x 91 of its own player, which from the 91 fantasy set equals to 15 of any 87 card, which cost another 225K (still assume 15K per card)

you need 1x 95 of its own player, which you can get from 4 cheap 91, which should cost like 140-160K. Don't buy 91 for over 40K. 

In total, you would spent around 455K - 475K for all the card.

The good things is, you can find cheap of those card during the week. It doesn't has to be only in the weekend

Now, a good UL card almost always sold over 600-700K on the week of its release, take the Charles Woodson card this week for example, even if you sold at only 600K that is still about 70K profit after tax. 

You can even use this method to get the UL you want for cheap price. Chad Johnson, a card that was release in the first week of UL, still selling around 460K mark weeks now. Using this method , you could have using Chad Johnson under 500K when it is first released.

Yes. sniping set pieces is profitable.

Other set may have their different way of working but most o them don't have this much profit. The cost of getting lower end card is too high compared to UL

The 88 ovr set requires is different to 87. So the method above still stand. Although it might be more expensive to get cheap 92 for a 96 now.

That's a lot of effort, a lot of loading, and a lot of my life gone. 

I might try it.

88 set requires 1 additional 85-86, so it is not the same as the 87 set.
