Was madden 24 a big improvement from previous years?

Good day everyone 

so you can pretty much say the year is pretty much over as far as Madden is, now you do have Easter and golden tickets for that community that’s still playing. 
 

so with that being said, I was just wondering with all the hype and the promotion that they were saying that this was their fix-it year will you say that they have accomplished that and was this game miles ahead from its previous  maddens ?

I’m not as critical about this game as most. My number one complaint compared to the others years I’ve played is the level of recycling players seems way up this year. I could forgive most everything that has gone wrong if they gave me enough player cards that aren't 3 and 4 times recycled. If I get a player that has not seen the game yet this year or just has a core set card I will shout from the excitement. Rodgers and this weeks Diggs were healing for my soul. I hope we get a Nick Chubb soon he’s usually my running back later in the year I always like his cards.

I feel like this game has lost its touch with the way cards play I feel like unless the card has a certain ability It doesn’t really matter what the stat has a long as it has some speed on it and to me that kind of ruined the game

You  like others I think are more annoyed with the game and how  EA’s approach to the game every year is put out , which is filled with bugs, and blunders , the way they gear this game towards money buyers is way way over the top and making it almost impossible to enjoy a new card unless you somehow you have a large amount of coins and like I pointed out earlier the card really doesn’t matter unless there’s a special ability to use with these cards which EA carrot dangles a rare ability   or low number ability. 
 

 I could be wrong here, but I think the game developers made  a nice game that runs fairly good and it plays good  , it’s just that the people online find the exploits then Spam the exploits  and this becomes the way the game is played unfortunately

The best thing about this game was something they should have done two years ago which was cross play.

However, it was also one of the more annoying because as an Xbox user I learned PS users are toxic af. Always on the mic running their mouth all game or on the phone the whole time having conversations on speaker phone for some unknown reason. Also, to all users that leave their mic on… change your smoke alarm batteries please 🙏

For Xbox1, it was certainly worse. Introducing abilities that only exist on PS5/XboxSeriesX really changes the game and makes it clear that the old-gen version is a poorly maintained afterthought. 

  Players get discounts on new abilities that don't exist on Xbox1. All these linebackers get discounted lurk artist but not lurker.  Players will get a blank slot.

Again, I think the problem with Madden seems to be that the people who exploit the game and then that’s the game, and then that becomes the way to play  and everyone follows, ignoring all the other plays and playbooks

I wasn't sure if I was being trolled initially, but i'm going to assume your question is made in good faith -- i believe EA's own terminology was to coin this a "make or break" year, which of course, i'm such a sucker and really thought that meant something.  Unfortunately, what it actually meant, was that they'd be doing everything in their power to make as much profit as possible, hoping to demonstrate this is worth the expense of the exclusive NFL license.  To be determined how well their bottom line has performed, but at this point our only hope for some type of quality improvement would be for EA Tiburon / Orlando to be so full of themselves that they take the Madden franchise the way of FIFA, perhaps giving us Generic `Murican Fatball Club 26 or something of the sorts.

Not that 2K would be much better to have an a corporate overlord, but goodness gracious, something has got to give.  Well, me retiring from MUT (again) is sadly, the only correct solution here.  I'll be back if/when something truly changes, but I can't keep getting suckered into this.  I really though i was signing up for simulation football, oof.
