Was man coverage nerfed

Man coverage is exactly how it should be: situational, vulnerable, and risky, just like real life. 
 

The game becomes unplayable when man is basically a “set it and forget it“ defense with psychic defenders.

Man coverage in general has been easier to beat this year. Which imo is necessary because if man just boxed everything it would be too easy to call a defense. People should be forced to adjust just like regular football instead of sit in one defense the whole game. Zone coverage and hybrid man/zone schemes are all about adjustments and putting players in the correct spots to take away what your opponent likes to do. Whether it's manning up the TE with an inside shade and a CB on a 20 cloud flat to double team a potential corner route, or cross manning a post to put your player a step ahead of the route. Anyone that calls stock man, cover 0 or 2 man under every play should be forced to adjust.

it's a reason why alot of pro's used stretched out gun & bunch formations, you literally can't run anything else against pro level players, they will just man everything and you can't throw, they almost can do it now w/ bunch.

if you don't think man is strong you aren't very good at running it, pro's use it all day everyday.

I was barely running man at all then started running it against bunch and shading, it has actually been working really well for me, now have a nice mix of zone / man keeping my opponent off balance, not sure what OP is seeing but man doesn't seem nerfed to me at all...
