MUT is doomed if it keeps going this way. Its April and the gap between top cards is zero. Every side plays pretty much the same so now it's just dice rolls and animations that decide outcomes 90% of the time.

And Solo Battles and Challenges are totally fucking boring. Same thing over and over and over.

I mean asking for a video game with no meta plays is kind of asking a lot tho. In the actual NFL would you argue that there’s an inside handoff from shotgun meta? Because every team calls that every week

I guess I'm saying that no play should work all the time, every time? So, in the NFL, running an inside handoff from shotgun might work 2 or 3 times, but it'd be shut down pretty quick if a team tried it on every play? So there should be effective counters - there shouldn't be a play that works no matter what.

They're all bad games IMO.

I've still got 22 on my console and played a H2H last night. It's pretty much exactly the same as 23. If anything, the graphics, particularly player size and pads, are better on the old game. We all paid real money for a roster update and EA is laughing guys.

23 has been a bug-filled nightmare so I guess that might mean it takes the title as there were issues with older games but not as bad as they've been this year. CFM's losing their entire saved seasons being a good example.

Imo there are effective counters in madden but they’re usually insane like “man up the outside corner and blitz the 3rd safety” or whatever. I’ve been playing since 19 so I do that stuff when a play is hurting me but tbh it should be more intuitive than that. Idk I feel I can counter every play that’s thrown at me and usually it’s a skill gap. The question becomes if the skill gap should be knowledge or like stick work based. And I lean on the side of knowledge rather than stick work but both should be important. Thanks for the clarification have a nice day!
