What ability makes a slant light up?

I am just trying to figure out what will get my slant to light up from the slot. I have tried slot o matic, route tech and short in. Nothing has worked for me to get the slant to light up vs press coverage.

Maybe try mid in elite, thats the only other thing I can think of

I depends on where the slant starts. If it’s your slot WR then Short In will light up.

Otherwise Route Tech should light up no matter where the WR is lined up.

If they are pressing their CB’s but in zone then I don’t think any of them will light up.

Well I use trips te, the slot wr closest to the tackle NEVER lights up with short in, slot o matic or route tech. I have tried it in practice mode if the corners are pressed it does not light up.

Have you tried it in H2H or just practice mode?

Do they not light up in practice mode sometimes?

If your receiver is inside the numbers and they are actually running man then Short In will do it.  Route Tech only activates if they aren’t pressing or you’re running routes that break multiple times like C routes.  Slot-O-Matic is super inconsistent and not really worth running at all.  I‘ve found that Route Tech really needs to be paired with Short In or Short Out to be most effective.  It’s easily countered on its own.
