Taking a year off.  Maybe I'll get the bug around Xmas or playoffs, but probably not with so many games now out and still to come.  And every other year worked out for me in recent years. Plus, the pack prices compared to odds were a straight up slap to the face this year in particular. 

I'm sure some people will strenuously disagree with me. But I strongly believe EA should be juicing paid packs. Building a top end team requires time investment obviously. But by and large you also either spend money or benefit from having no job when EA screws up new content at 1030 AM and causes massive coin generating glitches. Spending decent money on packs and barely keeping up with people home at 1030 AM was absolutely infuriating this year.
