What comes first - 99 OVR or moving on from Madden for MLB?

When MLB The Show comes out I usually start spending most of my game playing time on that and Madden gets phased out.....

It drops 3/24....so I am trying to see if I can get to 99 O and 99 D by that time. Do you guys think it will be possible ? I am only 3 positions away on O and 4 positions away on D. I could maybe get a different FS to 99 but I like Leon there. Need LOLB, FS, CB2 and LE on D and on O I need HB, C, and RG

I know a bunch of us are in the same boat...I usually try to hit all 99s by the time I am done with Madden for the season. When do you guys think we will get 98's ?

I think 98s are coming this week…. ToTY is scheduled to release on Thursday and I can’t really see those being 97s. I think you should be able to hit 99 by then tbh

I think it's going to come down to TOTY because you'll most likely need the kicker and punter.

With as long as they held out on em this year, they better be 98s

I think kaotikords told me EA already confirmed TOTY would be 98’s. If that’s the case then I would imagine getting to 99 O and 99 D shouldn’t be too difficult by the end of the week.

I don't necessarily think that all 99s are the best team for a person's scheme (including mine)...but it is a badge of honor and something I strive for every year (I think deep down all of us Madden heads do )

Oh I agree with you. Some cards just play better even if their attributes aren’t as good and scheme/abilities matter more than that anyways.

I honestly really used to like seeing the 99 OVR and 99O/99D but I really don‘t care anymore. I end up putting players out of their natural positions to use them how I want. Sometimes I run all SS in every DB/SubLb spot, TE’s at WR, and O-lineman wherever I want to put them.

I'll do the 99 OVR. I have way less time to play The Show than I do Madden, I only buy that once every few years.
