Sounds like some wholesome smack talk. I would have continued to play. I consider people to be toxic when they are using racial slurs and things of that nature. Then I just leave. I shant tolerate that malarkey.
The fact you can't mute your opponent is still mind boggling to me. EA is opening up a can of worms w/ that. I have my communication settings on my Xbox to friends only, but I can still listen to all the music/cursing/etc from PS5/PC players w/o an option to mute them.
EA can't do the simple things right.

Well yea but you'll never stop the toxic douchebags online. If you're expecting that to happen then good luck. I mute everything and shut my messages off. I have no reason to talk to anybody i play against or to send them messages. Waste of time

The thing I actually hate the most is people listening to music or comedy bits... that will get an automatic mute voice chat.
i have my headset plugged in but i dont listen to anybody……only time i may try to talk to someone is if im just askin if i can stat grind(always offering up the win to them if they let me just get shit done)
I concede out at the first indicator of a "poor game"...that indicator could be something programmed into the game (not gonna say DDA and upset anyone) or my opponent. If I get the sense that something "toxic" (game play or opponent) may happen I concede out and move on down the road. The OP indicated "IT AINT SERIOUS, YOU AINT GETTING PAID"...I would agree...I don't even care enough to try and figure them out or make a post about it.

Naw he was saying some vile shit in between the hubris, I just wanted to ask you all what your experience has been like. Im in my mid-30's now it doesnt get to me like it used to when I was a lot younger. Im just curious to know how everyone else deals with the toxicity displayed. I get it though, I played sports my whole life and it kind of goes with the territory of being competitive. Maybe I was way too high last night and ruminating on it too much, maybe im too high and ruminating too much right now...lol
