I have Bo starting at SS with Hendricks at backup, I also have them both as my SubLB, who is going start at SS if I do that?
There are 2 sub linebackers. Which ever is the 2nd one will be at SS and the top one at SUBLB
Bo will start at SS, and you starting MLB will move to one of you sublb

You're FS2 should play SS. Either that or it'll default a MLB if there isn't enough depth
in Nickel whoever is sub linebacker 2 will also be next to sub linebacker 1 in the box, so I user Hamilton and have Hartsfeld (backup FS) at 2 and both are in the box so my backup strong safety and my starting FS are deep. In 4-3 and 3-4 your MLB, ROLB, and LOLB, will be in the box.
I wanted to test this out so I used Bo and Ted Hendricks at SUBLB 1 and 2 and kept them at SS 1 and SS 2, I had Sean Taylor at FS1 and John Lynch at FS2, went into game and it put Lynch as SUBLB2 and kept Bo as SUBLB1. It has Sean T at FS1 then it put Ted Hendricks at SS, hope that answers your question
