This is my first year playing Madden Ultimate Team and for the past month or so I keep on hearing about and seeing people talk about rookie premier cards.
Could someone explain what exactly that is? Also, is there anything I should be doing to prepare for that? TIA to your response!
Usually they give you a 99 this year and an 86 to start next year but nobody knows what its going to be since a lot of those draft cards already have 97-99
i think I did it once back in the day, and you get a rookie this year, then all their upgrades until like December or something in madden 24
so I’ll just get linemen I guess 🤷🏻♂️
So you get these 99 OVR Rookie Players and get these Rookie Premiere tokens. The players are just normal players for your lineup but the tokens in Madden 24 transform into an 86 OVR version of the 99's.

The RP cards don't dynamically upgrade with the stats of any new cards the rookie player might get during the year anymore, sadly.
If RP in 23 is anything to go by for the next one, they'll get an 86 OVR card, and that will be it for that specific promo.
