What is the best defense in Madden 24(besides 6-1)

been using 6-1 and I’ve been getting killed with stretches and just not enough dbs on the field. what defenses have you guys been using?

Depending on their formation i pick between dollar and 6-1. I'll switch to nickel over on 4th and longs sometimes tho.

I be rolling with Big Nickel Over G

Brings in an extra SS but you can swap it to a Slot CB if need be. Gives some good flexibility and pretty balanced against pass/run if you have the right personnel

I run BNOG in a cover 3 shell base aligned and man up the slot cb on various receivers depending on what my opponent is doing. It works pretty well against most people.

If someone can make 3-4 reads before the pressure gets in I will struggle. Corner routes get me sometimes and it’s a problem when they constantly flip the play. I do alright though.

My red zone d is mostly cover 2 base aligned with some minor adjustments. I get a lot of picks with the vert hooks.

IMO the most important part of defense this year is user ability since the CPU is trash.
