What is the difference between Avalanche and Avalanche Elite?

And how do you activate it?  I've had it on Kam for going on 3 or 4 days now and haven't activated it once.  Doesnt seem worth it at all for 2 AP.

You need 2 TFLs or sacks with him to activate it which i believe is easier in EA’s opinion than basic avalanche which i believe is making a bunch of hit stick tackles hence why it is 2 AP
