I try to play Madden like an actual football game but that gets you nowhere. Maybe one day actual football knowledge will mean something in Madden

Honestly that's my biggest problem with this game, running into dollar sets that somehow both get instant pressure when it's 3 pass rushers vs 5 lineman....but you also can't run against it. The amount of pancake animations that should pop up in those scenarios but instead we have 3 lineman with cheesy abilities stopping runs so that people can drop 8 or even user a lineman to have 9 in coverage......between RPO's and that I don't understand why those types are playing when that's all you spam, go play franchise, you're playing against the computer either way at that point

Yep, i hear you man. There comes a point where it's not football, it's just ai manipulation. It ruins the game

RPOs are another "feature" that's been added to the game to make new / unskilled players feel like they can compete.

PA crossers, I had a dude run it the ENTIRE game, I had six picks and four pick sizes and he still didn't stop running it

Nothing was worse than that Mike Scrape 3 nano... M16 was my second year of playing MUT and that one play made me quit for the year in like January. It was awful.

I've finally figured out a way to stop most bums running this out of 43-Even 6-1. But when they rotate three glowing HBs that break the first tackle and are happy taking their 3-4 yards and most of the clock, it's tough.
flex trey and this kid I played only ran verts and scrambled with Vick. No matter what coverage or spies I had would stop him. Dude just cheesed all game
Okay so here's a new one I just faced. Dude was in dollar on a 50/50 ZC theme team... he dropped 10 into coverage and user rushed with Gronk to loop around my O-Line untouched and getting to the QB within seconds. All quick reads were taken away with flats... multiple hook curls and a spy.
You would think... okay no problem... just run the ball, right? Nope... three Inside Stuffs clogged the middle and he was just getting crazy sheds on outside runs. I'm a pass first player and don't use any glowing HBs... I'm sure that would have helped me.

For me it’s Bunch Offset. I hate it, I can’t stop it consistently and most people who run it don’t use anything else. So all that adds up to a hell game and I usually quit on the first drive. It’s getting so common though…

That's what kills me. People say learn how to stop it and I'm like I know how to stop it. Its just annoying to do the same thing over and over. Also annoying is the a.i. doesn't even adjust to the same play being called so eventually they'll covert 4th and 30th . People should understand that because you can do something doesn't mean you should. I put the blame on myself though because I play this game with morals meanwhile my opponents are demons who onside kick every chance, go for it on 4th every chance, call the same play on offense and defense all game.

Mut 16 was my 1st year of mut, and I first saw Mike scrape when I ran into volterax. Had no idea who he was and man 1st play i scored a 78yrd bomb because his mike scrape barely missed. I thought oh this finna be a breeze. Well 20 minutes later it was 80 to 7. Volterax had swerve catch and mike scraped me to death. I hated him and the fact that nothing I did could stop the swerve catch or mike scrape. Even now I'll take that over this bunch double post play. I learned to stop mike scrape and the swerve catch, I learned how to stop bunch double post but it depends on your a.i. not dumbing out or getting lucky so really I haven't learned how to stop bunch.
