For context, I'm building a God Squad rather than a theme team just yet. Is there any major importance to fleshing out the "Not Required" backup slots since I'm not utilizing team chemistry? For example, I had Franco Harris as my starting FB until I pulled Adam Prentice this morning. What would you do with Franco? Sell him and keep the backup spot open or keep him (for special teams I assume)? Thinking of all positions, not just FB btw. Thanks in advance for your advice!
Depends on the position. Typically, my backup up spots are either cards for the theme team or BND cards that hold up well on special teams/certain packages if needed. I wouldn't recommend holding a ton of coins on cards that don't see the field.

I was thinking since I have more Eagles players than anything right now I could buy cheap backups for a little boost, but then I worry they'd be liabilities on special teams. Is that a valid concern? Definitely agree on the BND players. Might as well have those in those spots, especially since some have a decent OVR.
That depends on your priorities I guess! For me, most of my backups are 83s from Most Feared so I get the MF chem and they are serviceable on special teams. So, there's probably a balance there. I'd rather spend 12k coins on a linebacker with 85 speed for special teams than a 76 linebacker with 75 speed. So, if you have coins I'd soend a little in some spots, but not a lot (in my mind, Franco at 115k is too expesnive for a back up, if he was 20k that might be worth the special teams value).
