I 100% agree with you on that; when you run this do you user coverage or try a user blitz? Also do you make adjustments at the line or run it stock?

Most 24 Dbl Mug plays basically leave the middle of the field between the line of the scrimmage and the first down marker wide open, so I usually fake blitz with the SubLb then drop back and user that area.
I run it stock.
However if I have the regular MLB in coverage I may risk a user blitz, though delayed, if I see a wide enough hole in the offensive line.
Playing a similar defense to the last 2 years with my Bears TT. 3-4 Odd playing either zone or heavy blitz, usering Mike Singletary. I have 92 Peppers at LOLB as well and he is my most consistent pass rusher, multiple sacks almost every game.
Also I usually move Singletary up to the line on the blitz, then go user cover, with 5 still rushing and one blocker doing nothing someone on the edge usually gets in. (usually Peppers)

Another Smart Scheme that's not the meta, I really like the addition of your favorite team as well, (guessing you're a bears fan).

Yes sir, I started this in M21 pretty early I think, I love real linebackers so since the Bears had a 3-4 playbook then I found Odd and adapted it over time, works pretty well to mix it up because I go from rushing 6 and pulling the user into coverage to heavy zone while I user Peppers who was going to blitz from OLB, leaving just 3 lineman while they panic anyway because they just no huddled out of a sack.

Yeah when I started my dime scheme it was the end of madden 20, and it was really working up until last year, then everything changed and idk why, I really like player made schemes that are more unknown because I like the fact of standing out and running a different defense that is still able to win games consistently.

I agree, nobody can disregard me for playing meta, I use 2 MLBs when everyone subs them out, if I beat you it's your fault and mine, not the formation I play out of, and not my team either, I started this year at Christmas and I'm at only 91 OVR.

👏 I love it when new players come in and are instantly beating all the meta cheesers that don't know what to do if they get stopped.

I have never looked up how to run any offensive or defensive formations or schemes which is why I created this forum post to see what most people are running themselves, and I'm glad everybody's not running dollar or 33 or another meta defense.

Yeah all the brainless ones I still beat, plenty of good players that stop me based on me team though. I took a large break between mid-endgame M22 and now, got All Madden edition on sale for 50 bucks and starting building my TT for yet another year, current goal is upgrading enough that 95 FB William Perry is sensible, so I can get him and change my team captain from Csonka.

(On offense I run a good bit of I Form and use my FB a lot, very confusing for most players to have a HB and FB messing up the passing game.)
Ravens playbook 99% Zone
Nickel 2-4
Nickel 33 Odd
Nickel Triple
Nickel 33 Cub
Dime 23 Will
Dime 23
Inside the 5 yard line:
44 Split
34 Over
24 Dbl Mug
I prefer cover 2 formations but mix in some cover 3 as well. I also mix in some zone blitzes and make plenty of adjustments based on the opponent.
I switch between 4 users, both SubLb’s and both Slot CB’s.
I have a god squad secondary with three inside shades for 7 ap I mostly run zone blitzes out of 335 loving that Peppers free safety card he's my fourth defensive lineman since he's always blitzing from somewhere. I make everything look like man cover two show blitz. My opinion. most important thing about defense in Madden is to not let your opponent get comfortable either in the pocket or with what they see in the secondary.

Totally agree! Christian okoye is my leader in touchdown receptions
