what's your thoughts???

its funny how ppl get upset when their winning easily and the player wont leave. ... i personally love when they stay so i can get my comp pass stats done

lets be real.. majority of games are score once or twice and they quit out...

I've also found it hard to have an actual competitive game.. majority are either i go up a lot or I'm down right away from a mistake or team just not playing well.  

is your experience the same?? or do you have shootouts often?

I'd say I get about 30% of games go beyond the 2nd series and maybe 10 % go to the end. I try to play a straight game and will stick around if its fun and competitive. Thats pretty rare. 

Unfortunately, at least 5% of games start with the other idiot trying an onside kick and then another 25% play 1 play on both sides of the ball all fucking game or go RPO-tastic. I know how to scheme RPO's and obviously I'll often recover the kick but I generally quit all those immediately because its just too dull. 

Every now and again I do play a good game with a decent player. I wish there were a way of tagging those guys or setting up some kind of filter on H2H so I could match up with players who wanted to play actual football but EA won't do that.

If we had a game mode with no abilities or X-factors it would bring back competitive gameplay if it was just based on the stats & traits of your players it would be alot better as you would axtually have to use strategy not rely on those dumb abilities & superhero x factors

even with that you'll still get the quit outs after one score or 2.

My guess is well over half of my games end in the first quarter...another 30% or so before halftime.  I have not played in a game that goes past the half in months.  As for your question on preference...if my opponent is losing big I would prefer them to concede...I do not want to spend the time grinding the clock.  I'm not going to run the score up (trying to get competitive pass points) on someone who is already taking a beat down.  As for my play style...I play two possessions and evaluate (this is usually end of first quarter start of second)...if the game is "unfair" (one side is better then the other...or...EA has decided to weigh in to make it "fun")...I'm bouncing...even if I'm the one winning.

i wouldnt know cause i cant even play online modes cause of fricking input delay. shit's so dumb lol, my xbox series s is only 2 weeks old  with a wired connection btw.

Maybe if the skill gap is huge lol but we’ll never know until it happens

A to the wire battle is awesome, too bad you will rarely experience that. But what else is new.

interesting... you don't like onsides against you? I don't do RPOs, but I onside because, its a 25-75 I get the ball. I don't know what the META is for them, but I just high kick and toss it in the air and pray. I enjoy when people onside against me because I don't have a hard time recovering them so I get great field position.
