It was weird, then again maybe I wasn’t use to a QB with PLE yet. I sold him anyways since I prefer Palmer and need the coin lol.
You put too much on him: GW, MT, and Tank makes every pass and runs through everybod.
Run DMC: absolute dawg…. If you don’t have tackle on conservative he breaking everything.
Reggie White: He destroys the Oline, if he’s not getting the sack he opens the line for someone else.
Brock Bowers: He catches everything, breaks tackles and reaches for extra yards every time he sees the ball.
Its Peppers always , every year for me .
rg 3 is insane, ceedee of course, and tyreek at mlb is kinda cracked for me rn too
Mecleve said:Just got him, but Run DMC is absolutely filthy on my Raiders/Ravens TT. My other 2 choices are Kyle Hamilton and Patrick Queen.
I'm kind of amazed that more people haven't discovered or recommended Darren McFadden. I was totally content running Shaun Alexander, he's been fantastic... but oooh doggie, DMC is an absolute stud. Vick is potentially a better pure runner, but if yer ball carriers don't get Tank, yer probably doing it wrong. I don't have my guy boosted on any Raiders (or Cowgrrls) theme teams, but even without he's 98 SPD and 99 ACC. I've been running HJS + Tank on him and he's potentially the best runner I've used all year.
I've kept Shaun Alexander around, just for giggles, he's got Backfield Mismatch + Tank, in case i need to run any dual HB sets, or in the rare instance when Tank doesn't work and Darren somehow gets stuck without stamina.
Back to OP's original question, hrmm... it's been extremely difficult to select just three. Basically ALL of these new entries (Zero Chill, Ghosts & Presents players) are absolutely fantastic. I'm beginning to prioritize height over speed, especially on defense (but tall pass catchers certainly don't hurt). Calvin Johnson with Deep Out Elite just absolutely mosses defenders. It's borderline unfair, so that's probably one standout I'd encourage everyone to consider.
On defense, i'd encourage everyone to take a quick glance at that Julius Peppers (CB), he's been ridiculously good for me in the small sample size of games I've used him. What we all hoped Ted Hendricks would/should have been, sadly they screwed Teddy on abilities. Getting 8 or 9 MZKOs on the field is game-changing, to state it mildly.
Bauer93 said:what 3 cards have been performing the best for you? With so many new cards that came out it would be nice to know what cards stand out and if you want you can even put a top 3 for each side of the ball maybe a small reason on why they are in the top cards thank you!
I don't know about top three, but my top performing card is Debit lol.
Bland, Josh Allen and Dexter Lawrence. Only 1 of which fits my Dolphins/Cowboys TT. McFadden gets honorable mention.
Putting ghost of MUT sean taylor and Gronk as my 2 middle line backers has been life changing from suh and kirkland.
Darren McFadden didn't fit my previous theme team, but after selling a bunch of items as I check out of any serious Zero Skill competitive play, I had continued to hold McFadden because the price for his card remains obscenely undervalued. On the way to getting my coin stack above 16 million, I decided to change out the Chiefs from my Chiefs/Commanders/Eagles lineup, and I settled on the Cowboys. In goes McFadden.
WOW! While I expect to continue having issues running the ball due to the persistent insta-sheds, McFadden runs like he's got 110 SPD. I had to remind myself that this wasn't June MUT. Crazy, crazy speed, and easily my new favorite player on a 92 OVR lineup with 20 NAT cards.
Josh Allen for sure, absolute monster
93 Legend Kam is amazing. Even before the boosts. His first snap for me was a pick 6, his 2nd was a forced fumble (didn’t recover but still)
upgraded Sweat as well
Interesting to read the positive comments regarding CB Peppers. I was very excited to get him but he's been a no show for me. Not a single pick in way over 15 games. 1 tackle for loss. That's it. He got beat twice as far as I can tell.
This isn't necessarily bad as this could mean that nobody is throwing his way because he's just covering well.
91 Prime and Bland all excelled at CB with plenty of picks. Prime compiled ~60 INTs with half of them taken back for 6.
Well, it's hard to pick 3 players especially as I don't have all the top cards on my roster. A pleasant surprise was ZC Patrick Surtain. He is a real ballhawk and super fast to the ball. I play him at CB3 so he doesn't see the field all the time as I play a lot of 6-1 but still his presence is felt. Sean Taylor is really good too and I will also keep Bland.
From what I'm reading here I will dump Shaun Alexander and replace him with McFadden. Alexander is solid but not a measurable upgrade over Ickey. Pollard was a step back from Ickey.
For me I'm going CB Peppers, CB Hendricks, and SS Calvin. I'm enjoying the game more than I have in a long time. Got SS Hamilton n CB Ngata filling out the defensive back field for my ravens/seahawks tt who are also amazing
RyyoLurkedEm said:SS calvin cooking at FS for me, keeping Hamilton over Derwin due to hamiltons height and man cov. Hutch forces so much pressure, d’von dre sweat is a cracked DT, then usering sean T
Deion, ceedee and Calvin at WR have all been studs for me
Calvin at fs is lights out. Always on the ball. Using peppers cb at ss.
