Looking to prepare myself accordingly for Season 3 and beyond in the best way. I haven’t played MUT for years, and am wondering what to expect in the coming months outside of TOTY and Honors.
In years past, when I did play, I never really played after the SB because I couldn‘t keep up with god squads and competition levels.
This year, I’m looking at a 95 OVR Legends TT with 6.5 mil to spare.
Do I dial back the team and stock up to 10 mil for the 97-99 push about a month from now? I didn’t buy much after the 93’s dropped until the latter end of ZC, but that was when I swapped from an ATL TT to Legends.
Do TTs ever catch up? Enough to be competitive? My only gauging point is using the site to look at past years cards
i know its a while away, but i would try to balance getting new cards and saving coin till easter. You can make so much off easter, then build off of then. Thats when gts, fan appreciation, rookie premeire come out, and you will have the best shot at building a god squad. TTs will catch up around this time, as well, allowing you to pretty much run any tt at at least a 96 overall.
I'm a 94 with 6.5m also and we still have a good 8-9 months left of mut. I plan on making upgrades here and there but I never spend all my coins at one time and try to make up whatever I spend cause I like having plenty of coins for golden tickets or a new promo or if I want to buy a card I really like. Upgrading players can be overrated. With a 95 team you could not upgrade anyone for a good month or two but why hoard all those coins and not spend here and there. It also comes down to players with great abilities and being able to afford them. Im still using Barry and he still plays well,I could upgrade and I will soon but I just try to be patient and if a player plays well then I'll stick with him for awhile even if there are higher rated players available.

That was kind if my approach with the ATL TT but playing my a** off and coming up short was killing me. I tried switching to a zone scheme but its not as good as hybrid and mixing up looks. Man just doesnt work with an inferior squad with shorter corners
