Where is average OVR at right now?

Just getting back into MUT after quitting for a couple months - Where are most teams OVRs at right now?  wondering if 86-87 OVR team  can really be competitive or not.  Looking at prices, I would think most who have played since day 1 would be around 90 OVR, is that a fair guess?

I am nms and offline player I am at 90 ovr offense and 89 defense

yeah if you've been playing the whole yr probably 89/90, that's where I'm at and think the highest possible ATM isn't much higher than that

without chem boosts the highest possbile is a 91

i was at 89 before changing consoles, so im down at an 85 now, but if you have skill and a few good players that you can use right the you can be competitive with an 87+ team, although if you can afford it you should definitely get you team as high ovr as possible since the new cards are starting to get good abilities.

87 probably. 86 I kinda felt like I was struggling a bit but I will say 87 is a good medium.

90 overall 91 defense. 25 broncos theme team. Cards are dropping you can pick up some good 90’s for cheap now

I am NMS and at 90 Offense and 89 defense.  I’ve been playing since day 1.

NMS, 49ers theme team. 90 OVR, 90 Offense, 89 Defense. I'll probably be 91 OVR on Thursday.

88-89 is perfectly fine if you have a scheme and a plan. I don't think it's emphasized enough that a player with a plan on how they are going to beat or defend certain looks will always beat a player who does not have a plan. When I see someone still using justin fields over a higher OVR meta card I assume they do so because he is free and they are still winning games with him because they know what they are doing.

im an 87 across the board and i have no issues at all

With the right pieces and enough skil an 86-87 ovr can definitely be competitive against the most players. Personally, I'm around a 90 ovr NMS. I don't even engage with investsments that much so I'd say your assessment is correct for people who've been playing since day 1. But you have to remember most people regularly posting on this site are probably a bit more engaged than the average player and thus probably have a team that's better than average. 

Honestly, I don't think 87 would be too far off if we include all the casual players who don't post often on the forums

I'm 87 Bears TT. Win some, lose some, but staying competitive. My allegiance to the Bears does create some holes that can be exploited. But overall I'm having fun.
