While Waiting for Madden to Be Patched...

I've completed all of the challenges, and am currently completing the few remaining objectives via relatively boring Solo Battles. While I await a new round of content, I have the following additional options:

• I can occasionally get winnable matchups in Champions, although I have very frequently faced off against overpowering lineups. At least that mode resets each week, and there are no long-term consequences to any one loss in the context of my actual skill and the week-long timeframe involved.

• H2H Seasons could be an alternative to Champions with a similar rationale.

• I can proceed with the Ultimate Solo Seasons. I have gone 8-0 thus far, but my defense has been worthless, and with my current lineup, I'm almost certain the next game will end in a loss.

• I am skipping Ranked H2H altogether until at least the first patch, because early losses against cheat plays will indeed result in negative long-term consequences.

It seems that the rewards for Champions are probably the best and most attainable of the lot for an NMS player like myself.

What are you focusing on as you await the first patch?

Well, I played a pair of Champions games. Unfortunately, my players are still being dominated by superior lineups, and my opponents know the appropriate glitches to get fifteen yards of separation.

This game sucks right now.

Quick question, is the RPO still as bad as last year?

Oh wow, you're a better man than I.  Prior interactions with EA no-Help has demonstrated that they're essentially worthless and can only feed you (and us) these type empty platitudes.  Bleh.

I would not say it may be as bad as MUT 24, but to put it in perspective, rpo's are the least of our problems defensively currently.

Can't tell yet. Haven't seen it much, and haven't been burned by it except for when my defense ought to have been due to the scheme and adjustments. However, that's likely because the other cheat and cheese plays are so much more effective at this phase of the game.

Was going to make a similar post. My thing is ...surely this cant be the final gameplay. No defense. They must have plans to patch in a better game because the entire game is just a clock management p2w mess where the players have massive skillgaps already. For someone like me who plays casually its impossible to pick up wins consistently online like this. I cant tell when I'm improving because Steve Smith or Randy Moss etc. is ALWAYS open. I try 3 deep zone blitz, cover 1 zone/man, I try user LB, user FS/SS/ROLB/CB.  I cant tell when Im doing something right or wrong.  No progress.

Do you think that's because defenders are responding better to those plays, or because Set Feet Lead and high SPD's haven't arrived yet?
