For me it’s:

Ray Nitschke. Guy is always around the ball and consistently break up passes.

Charles Tillman and Woolen have also both played the outside very well for me. They seem to get INTs and I don’t notice them doing any head scratching/frustrating things out there.

Derrick Henry. Is an absolute stud out there. consistency breaks atleast 1 tackle on every attempt

I just got Wild Man Ray as my new USER and my goodness, he's been fierce in both run and pass defense. He almost feels too good to personally USER him. When the fatigue glitch nonsense was still in the game, i converted my scheme to Dime and ultimately began controlling Fred Warner from the DE/RLE position, dropping 8 back into coverage and allowing the CPU to control Ray. He just feels so great to run around as my USER, so i'm back to controlling him, mostly out of Dollar now that we have no stamina issues.

Overall "best" player is difficult, as it can depend on my opponent, but Darius Slay Jr. (with 0AP Pick Artist + 3AP DOZKO) as my outside corner essentially clinched my H2H Seasons Superbowl victory a couple nights ago, with an impressive, leaping pick at the goalline, to prevent my opponent from having a chance to tie the game late in the 4th. 24-16, thanks for the Trophy Packs, Slay.

Beyond that, both Randy Moss and Julius Peppers just seem to have everything we'd want on a DB; speed, height, great abilities... i'm confident we can count on one hand the total number of truly elite corners in the game right now. I've used Tariq and Douglas, although i got Tillman for my 150 Point 90+ ZC daily deal yesterday. Probably sticking with my current DBs.

On offense i tend to spread the ball around, i'd probably say Derrick Henry if i had him, but i went from Dri Archer to James Cook, both of who were decent in run and pass game, although Dri Archer did fumble a couple/few times in crucial scenarios for me, i assume due to the low Carrying stat. Megatron is also quite good, he's bailed me out a couple times already from bad reads, but heaving up a high ball into single coverage with that X-factor activated (assuming i can get him alone, with no KO ability from my opponent) has been impressive.
