It’s not like some people got lowered to 6ap and some didn’t. We are all on the same level playing field. It only sucks for people who do not have God squads. I know it was done as a money grab by EA to make Golden Tickets worth something but I like the change personally. Widens out the skull gap for those who depend on OP abilities to win a game.
It was needed awhile ago. 12 AP to start the year and it's probably the equivalent of 20 now with all the 0 AP abilities. I think they should double aka x factors too, but this will suffice.

I’m confused because you answered your own question. “It was done as a money grab by EA to make Golden Tickets worth something”.
Obsoleting a massive amount of cards and forcing people to upgrade to double 0AP GTs and new drops to compete in H2H is rightfully frustrating to the vast majority of the player base.
My only thing is this change should've happen for a while now but yea its definitely a money grab thing.
I wouldn't have a problem with it if they had been proactive all year about making sure ap doesn't get out of hand. For me it's too late and they should have just waited for 24
Any word when this goes into effect?I still have my norm 12 ap on both sides.
Again as I’ve said on other posts either way abilities should completely go aka X factors and discounted abilities ruined the game.

no this doesn't just suck for god squads this suck for every theme team cause some of the players they been given out don't get good discounted abilities strong safety for example pola mao was the best safety you could use for absolutely free now KO's for him are expensive even for 1 ap when people are just gonna run seams down the middle of the field in gun tight or just run stretch and trap all game. the skill gap didn't increase it made defenses 1 dimensional.

Exactly. Everyone has to make changes and changes cost money. EA’s yearly revenue is down because of the pack glitches flooding the economy and this is the perfect way to get some of it back. The zero ap GT’s are the ticket.
It is purely a money grab. They don’t care about competitive balance, they just want people to buy the new cards coming out. This is on top of so many other issues this year and EA has shown that they don’t care about their customer base over and over again. It is the last straw for me. I don’t know about you, but I am not going to let them keep treating us like this and stick around for more.

Ok I get that but Mut has become a mode that everyone gets every card. Back in the day limiteds weren’t the cheapest card on release. You couldn’t pull the best card from a TVP. Not everyone was able to get their hands on UL Calvin or UL Vick and it made it fun. giving value to cards coming into the game makes it more exciting

the game is all about abilties. for example...good luck trying to stop gus the bus without an ability. or good luck getting open without a route running ability versus shades.
youre a firefighter? oh man. glad you dont work in my county. probably ask how to connect the hose

I understand the positive outlook you have for this AP change but respectfully disagree with you. your comparing past versions of mut with the newer versions that are without a doubt catered far more to a gambling type of gamer. it just isn’t the same beast. This game mode is taken so seriously by EA to monetize, yet when a mut player takes it equally as serious and finds loopholes in their systems in place, they are often penalized, I’m unsure how that is truly “fair play“ for all? if The content was more thought out from the start and these glitches that happened and lost them money were more quality controlled by EA themselves, like the past versions of mut were that you are referencing, an AP change, as well as the trade block revocation, at this point in the games lifecycle would be not necessary imo. if they wanted to start the implementations of those things at the beginning of the next season I would see it far differently than I do rather than doing these things now.
