Madden community is awful for sure, no defending that.
MLB definitely isn’t innocent, I played 2 games online this year, and to be fair I’m terrible it was my first year even trying. Both games some kids invited me to parties to clown me because I lost them both.

This is what happens when people can't do anything with themselves in real life. They get obsessed with winning in a videogame and it's pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things

Madden on the other hand I can always depend on being messaged with hateful, racist and downright cruel shit. I lost my super bowl last night with my kid cheering me on a touchdown with 5 seconds left. Great game. I had every intention of throwing him a GG after the game and instead he had to hop on the mic, call me trash, tell me get off his fucking field and delete madden. In 10 years of playing mlb the show this has happened exactly zero times. I don't want to shut down my dms to new folks because I have made some great friends that way, but this is getting to be too much to expose my child to. If you think I'm being an overly sensitive little bitch, I guess i am. I just don't understand the anger
MLB the show requires more skill then madden in order to be successful. Also the MLB consumer base is smaller then the NFL one, so that also has to be taken into account, as there is a less chance of running into a jerk in MLB then madden.

Why can I not share my opinion and criticize people for what they are doing? and blocking them doesn't change that if they are so easy to troll and be bigoted, then it might be a symptom of a bigger issue.
