Why did EA strip Run N Gun playbook of formations and plays

Someone help me understand why EA strip Run N Gun playbook of formations and plays ????

Yup. I’m not happy about it either. I haven’t been able to find a full replacement for it yet. Nothing else has the combo of Wildcat, triple options, jet sweeps, and good passing concepts. It’s hard to find.

R & G is still an awesome book i use it every year i hate they did this but it has a ton of great plays in it still and many still use it and will.

I think the chiefs and commanders have quirky plays you might wanna check out.

When did this happen?  I think the book is fine, unless this is new.

It's still usable but you're limited. If anything the Spread book needed paring down and you could've added to other books. But the Wildcat formation in the run n gun is the best version imo of that formation and is the only reason to use run n gun anymore. One book I'm having a lot of fun using is the Pistol book and I've never been a fan of the formation but it's genuinely fun to use.

I haven't gotten 24 yet, but i've always loved Run n Gun and in 23 it was awesome. Sucks to hear they stripped out a bunch of plays!

From the get go this year. Flea flicker is the big one I miss from it.

I’ve used Run N Gun playbook for 7 years .. so I knew the formations and the plays like the back of my hand . So yes they have 100% stripped it of formations and plays

They have butchered the Run N Gun playbook

Pistol Playbook is cool but it’s just pistol formations . What made the Run N Gun playbook good was that it had a little bit of everything. Pistol , shotguns , i forms  , strong I , weak I and wildcat . With the formations they have taken out of the Run N Gun playbook has  made it trash

Yeah I know what it was it's been my primary playbook for years. I was just pointing out the Pistol book surprised me.

no good explanation on why they nerfed one of the best playbooks in Madden
