Why do a lot of people hate when someone wants to play the line? When I run with my boys I’m always on the line and get 7+ sacks a game and tons of pressure. Yes the computer can do that as well but if 2 people are in coverage and someone’s on the line, it can be deadly. Why do others have such a huge issue with it though?
Because they erroneously believe it takes more skill to sit in the middle of field with a user and pick artist or lurk artist than manning the D line. People will always find the cheapest, easiest way to beat you in any game, especially an online game. It's human nature unfortunately.
I have a 3 man squad and we Do just like you said. Me and another buddy playing coverage and one guy screaming at the qb all game. I never play with randoms so sorry that you have to deal with that. I love coverage and would hate to play the line but Im always very happy with the pressure my squad mate gets. Hopefully you can find a group that you can consistently play with and they cover while you rush.

That is true. I don’t mind playing coverage but if I’m getting clutch sacks and pressures, and the other 2 are getting picks/breakups from it then I dont see the issue

Yeah it honestly helps a ton. Leads to many turnovers !
7 sacks a game? Surely you jest. My squads d-line user is a literally non factor each and every play. Maybe you can wiggle the stick better.

I don't care for coverage bcs there's not enough action to keep me engaged imo. And as a former D line football player myself I prefer to stay in the trenches.

Because it takes away from your number advantage on defense. With 3 users and on 2 user wrs you have the advantage on taking them away and making the qb make a throw to the cpu against 3 people usering routes. Being a dline user can be an advantage but you'd have to be getting pressure so fast that it'd be like loop blitzing. 3 users are so hard to throw against that's why.
I think it's because people view it as less-skilled, or whatever. I honestly don't know.
When I played squads back in 18, I'd stick to the DL because my two other squad-mates were better coverage users than me and I'd rather stick to what I could do the best.
Also, when I play H2H now and I'm not getting a pass rush... I user Myles Garrett and let the CPU cover for me.
personally i don't mind it but i feel like it's a lot harder to d-line rush than years past.
i remember before i had a three man i would hop into a sweaty lobbies with random groups and i think me and another group of guys had a 34 game win streak back in madden 19 it was so easy back then now you take forever to get to the QB giving them enough time to dot up coverage.
Can get more int with 3 users. Dline alone gets pressure eventually

I don't play squads @ all, just h2h. But I really suck @ usering, however i'm trying to get better. When I start giving up too many plays & get frustrated then hell yea i'm gonna switch to the dline & couldn't give a damn what anybody thinks about it.
