Apparently there's something called a companion app where you can work the auction house on a mobile app without having to be in game
This allows coin seller to program bots to instantly snipes cards at certain price points before us legit console players can buy the cards

I play the game strictly on console, never did anything on phone such as madden mobile, companion apps, etc

It is not just bots on the app...it is people with really quick thumbs. The app tends to refresh and click quicker then controller on console, but...the app serves a purpose.
