Why does this happen?

I had a thread I started about motion that went like that for about 4 pages. The only thing as low as the relevant replies was the level of discourse they had as they all argued with each other, even though I repeatedly suggested people get focused and actionable in regards to it. At the end of the day, it seems everyone can agree that idiocracy is a documentary but nobody wants to do anything about it by stepping up to the plate.

Dude, I started a solo battle, my game crashed. When I got back on, I went to start it again. However, it said I lost even though nothing happened. Not even the kickoff! EA do better and get your crap together or I won't play this game anymore.

Just looked at that thread… Never seen a more useless argument go on for that long in my life. If there‘s one thing the Madden community’s great at, it’s being toxic.

Yep. I've been disconnected in playoff games, superbowls, etc. That's the shit i'm talking about.

Yeah, gaming communities tend to be toxic in general. I think an issue is, some of the vocal ones tend to be the...less productive ones. The more goal oriented individuals are far more likely to stay quiet and stay out of the drama. So maybe it isn't the communities being toxic, but a significant portion of the more outspoken individuals?

Also, yeah, that thread was a joke. So many arguments, and so very little actually providing input. Hilariously ironic that it was apparent who couldn't even back up their own trash talk in that very thread, which was basically all of the trash talkers. Go figure.
