Why is so hard to snipe this year compared to previous years

People are using auction bots to snipe cards as soon they are listed. At first I thought bots was a myth but have seen people on FC24 admit to using a auction bot so I'm sure there is something similar in Madden.

If it's like FC24 there's a thing called paletools that literally has a snipe option where you set the parameters and it's faster than any console or companion app.  So many people use it your only competitors are other people doing the same thing.

Yeah that's it, and I don't use it so not sure what your getting at.

Supposedly, using bots is against the ToS. I imagine that if EA wanted to prosecute those violations, they have no idea how to catch anyone that is deliberately trying to throw a simple abuse-detection algorithm "off the scent".

If you're tasked with beating bots, your only hope is to settle for the items sold at amounts too high for the bots to act.

Exactly, its just an app that makes the servers think it's the legit EA apps ending in the bids with a lot of bells and whistles the regular version doesn't have.  As many variants there is out for FC24 you got to think someone's done the same with MUT and likely the same way.  Difference is the FUT one is widely known and free for everyone where the MUT one is kept hidden probably just used by the coin selling sites.

Was banned for simply that, utilizing the auction house.  Nothing crazy, no bots, no help, just simply buying and selling.

There are fewer pack types to buy, fewer cards in the packs, and the overalls are lower.  That means fewer cards to post and fewer sniping opportunities.  

This game use to be about packs and cards and sets, now its about points.

Been sniping for years it feels the same for me as it has been the past few maddens.
