I see Kirby joseph for 1.7 and Reader is almost 300k. I need them for my lions theme team. Why is the team builder program so much more than other cards of the same overall?

For the exact reason you just mentioned. People need them for theme teams, demand drives prices up. They’re also used in Team Diamond sets further driving demand.

If you wait until the new team builders release later today then with this comes more team builders challenges, and the next reward is a free 90 overall BND team builder.
So wait till later today and choose Reader. As for Kirby his price will fall in the coming weeks as more cards are released at higher overalls.

Kerby gets all 32 theme teams… 90 man zone… 40/40 +2 speed just dropped… needs all divisions to complete is what makes him expensive.
